[NEWS] 4minute Hyunah and MBLAQ Lee Joon, date on an airplane?

As first hand accounts of 4minute Hyunah's (20) and MBLAQ Lee Joon's (23) affectionate appearances on an airplane were reported, a lot of attention was received.

On June 22nd at Okinawa, Hyunah and Lee Joon boarded an Asiana airplane heading to Incheon Airport side by side.

The two people sat together in the first row all the way at the front of the business-class section. For the 2 hours and 10 minutes they were on the airplane, they looked lke they were a couple.

Entertainment reporters who observed the two people said, "Hyunah and Lee Joon were wearing casual outfits and they took care of each other as if they were a couple in college. Maybe it was because business-class did not have many passengers, but Hyunah and Lee Joon sat comfortably without wearing any sunglasses or hats."

It was confirmed that Hyunah and Lee Joon were returning from Okinawa with the staff for Hyunah's solo album music video; however, people who were observing at the time did not know this and they thought the two were returning from a trip together.

Up to this point, Hyunah and Lee Joon always openly said that the other person was his or her ideal type. At the end of this month, Hyunah confidently called Lee Joon as her ideal on SBS FM Choi Hwajung's Power Time. Even when she appeared on SBS Quiz Club recently, she answered "MBLAQ's Lee Joon" when asked who she had in her mind by gagwoman Kim Sook.

And as expected, Lee Joon reciprocated. On last July's KBS2 Star Golden Bell, he was asked what he thought when Hyunah picked him as her ideal type and he replied, "Hyunah is definitely the best out of girl groups."

Furthermore, Lee Joon and Hyunah were matched as a couple for a dance. While MBLAQ and 4minute prepared for their joint performance on 2010's SBS Gayo Daejun, they even had a wedding photoshoot. Lee Joon and Hyunah were complimented and told that they looked like a real couple.

As wedding pictures in which they kissed each other's cheeks were revealed, fans even supported them and said, "It'd be great if they were actually dating." And in January, Lee Joon and Hyunah were MCs together for SBS's variety program "Remote Control."

CUBE Entertainment said, "The music video concept is a boyfriend and girlfriend's date. Hyunah and Lee Joon acting affectionate toward each other on board the plane was actually just a setup for the music video. Still photographs were taken at this time. These photographs were taken so they could be inserted as a panorama at the end of the music video, but it was decided that they would be removed since they did not actually fit into the whole context of the video. Please do not misunderstand (*Hyunah and Lee Joon's relationship---or lack of one)."

[INFO] Gayoon and Jiyoon to take part in Japanese 'My Princess' OST

It has been recently announced that the popular Korean drama, My Princess, will be releasing a Japanese version of its soundtrack on July 24th, 2011. A deal for the drama to air in Japan has been inked since January, both its main actors Kim Taehee and Song Seunghun having a huge following in Japan.

The upcoming OST will also include Heo Gayoon’s もう一度恋がしたい (I want to love again) and Jeon Jiyoon’s オアシス (Oasis) This will once again be another good platform for 4minute to gain more exposure in Japan outside of their normal group activities. No Japanese air date has been announced yet, but it should air sometime this summer around the soundtrack's release.

[INFO] The meaning of the tattoo on Hyunah's shoulder?

4minute's member Hyunah, who is going to make a solo comeback, has a tattoo that is gaining attention.

Through CUBE Entertainment, Hyunah's mini-album jacket photos were revealed on the 27th. In the pictures, there is a tattoo on the left side of Hyunah's back. Fans are curious of the meaning of this tattoo. The letters on the tattoo spell out, "My mother is the heart that keeps me alive."

A CUBE Entertainment official explained on the 27th, "Hyunah picked the words and the meaning herself."

"Hyunah has been apart from her family for a long time because of her activities, so she thinks of them a lot. Her love for her mother is particularly deep. It has actually been a while since she got the tattoo, but it is being revealed for the first time only because her top is low on the back this time."

The official also said, "Hyunah's album concept this time is not about being sexy, but rather about giving off a sporty feeling."

Hyunah's mini-album will be revealed on the 5th and during that week, she will start full-fledged promotions; however, the exact date of her music program comeback is not yet determined.

[NEWS/INFO] 5th Japanese Single: Heart to Heart ; 1st Japanese DVD : [Still Untitled]

After releasing their last Japanese Single, WHY, and their 1st full Korean album, 4minutes Left, 4minute is ready to release their 5th Japanese Single, Heart To Heart! The single will be released on August 24th! Sadly, there is no artwork for the single at this moment. There will be 3 Versions of the release:

Version A (CD+DVD)
1,500 yen (tax in)

Version B(CD+DVD)
1,500 yen (tax in)

Regular (CD)
1,000 yen (tax in)

The DVDs will both have different contents.


4minute will also release their 1st Japanese DVD on the same day! It shows all of 4minute's journey in Japan, all the way from May 5th, 2010, their Japanese debut. That will be 3,500 yen. 4nias be sure to start pre-ordering! Pre-orders start in a few days!

[INT] "4minute's Jeon Jiyoon, who used to be shy, changed a lot"

Youngji is a skilled vocalist who is active as a vocal trainer for singers. BEAST and even 4minute have entered the music industry as talented idols because of her training.

Youngji explains, "I can't make people who can't sing sing. I only teach them methods. It's not that they magically become great at singing after I teach them. My role is to help them bring out what they already have and show them shortcuts."

"Instead of specifically trying to teach something with a song, I say, 'I think this song matches well with you, so try listening to it and practice it.' If they improve by practicing, I recommend different songs. Instead of directly developing their vocals, I try to help them change.

Youngji, who was trained by BMK and Ji Youngseon says, "If a person without experience tries to teach idols, I think they will fight a lot. I have a lot of these experiences. If I was scared of my teacher or if the teacher was boring, there were times when I did not go to my lessons. There were times when I worked hard, and also times when I regretted things. Your vocals will not improve if you are taught by just anyone."

When asked which idol she taught changed the most, Youngji answered with 4minute's Jeon Jiyoon. "She is a person who has changed a lot. Although she is overflowing with charisma on stage now, she was actually a very good-natured and timid girl," Youngji revealed.

"In order to change her, I would intentionally make her practice sexy songs by the Pussycat Dolls. I taught her until she transformed, but even when I saw her myself later on, she really was sexy."

"Once a week, we would meet and talk for a long time about many things. That was because I was trying to change her heart, not improve her singing. She has a strong will and she works very hard."

Meanwhile, Youngji who has been a vocal trainer for many hoobaes is releasing a mini-album after a long time.

[INFO] Hyunah comes in #5 in Best Idol Dancers!

Recently, Arirang TV released a list of their top 5 idol dancers. This list was also partly based on the members' abilities to stand out among the rest with their dancing skills. The list is as follows:

1) Jaebeom
2) Kahi
3) Taeyang
4) BoA
5) Hyunah

This is quite a surprise as all the others nominated are much more experienced than Hyunah. Hopefully, Hyunah will continue to improve and let her talent truly shine!

The new member of Immortal Song 2, 4minute's Jeon Jiyoon, revealed a unique determination.

"I'm very grateful that people are showing so much interest even before I begin, but I'm also starting to get worried. I saw an article that labeled me as "Hyorin's rival." That was a flattering remark. I will not focus on the fact that I am a vocalist of the performance group 4minute, but rather enjoy myself on stage.

Although vocals are the main part of this show, I want to give a more diverse and interesting performance to watch."

"Immortal Song 2" is a program which allows idol group members to compete. Jeon Jiyoon will take Secret's Song Jieun's place starting from the 27th. She will compete with FT Island's Hongki, 2PM's Junsu, SISTAR's Hyorin, BEAST's Yoseob, and 2AM's Changmin.



Jiyoon is expected to be a fresh addition to this program. A CUBE Entertainment official said, "I know that the production crew was interested in Jiyoon's distinctive, husky tone and strong image from the beginning. Jiyoon is working extremely hard to perform well with her singing ability and to also show a different image than those of her competitors."

It was also said that Yang Yoseob, who is already on the show, gave many tips to Jiyoon. The official continued, "He told her many things--how it feels when the lights turn off and what kind of appearance to show."

And although the other lead vocalist of 4minute, Heo Gayoon is also charismatic, Jeon Jiyoon's vocals and appearance seem to be unique compared to Gayoon's. (*Which is why she was chosen instead.)

Jeon Jiyoon says her upcoming appearance on the show is very burdensome.

"Rather than focusing on ranks, I want to be able to enjoy this while giving a powerful performance and showing 4minute's unique colors."

[INFO] Hyunah explodes because of a girl who cannot refuse anything

Girl group 4minute's Hyunah expressed annoyance with her whole body during the middle of a broadcast.

On the 20th on KBS 2TV's "Hello General Public Talk," one viewer claimed that "refusal is the most difficult thing in the world."

Because of this person's inability to refuse anything, there were instances when she lent her car to her friends, who ended up getting into a car accident. She also got loans to lend her friend 20 million won ($17,000) because she could not deny her friend's request.

Hyunah who was a guest on the show said, "I think people are using you because you are too kind. Don't be like that from now on."

When asked if she had a boyfriend, the girl revealed, "I stayed with my boyfriend because I liked him, but he cheated on me too much." Hyunah was surprised and felt so stuffy that she said, "That's not right. That's not love."

Time is really fast. It's already been 2 years....... But..!!!

Anyway, it's been 2 years since 4minute has debuted..
There have been many things that happened since then, many ups and downs, but every time, you 4nias are the reason why we were able to stay strong!!!
Thank you so much!! Whether something bad or something good happened, you guys stayed by our side and protected us!!!!!!!!
I couldn't thank you each time, but there were many things that I was thankful for.
I always felt it, but I think I felt it even more during these past promotions.
Because this recent album was the first time we promoted after a long time, I felt very stressed so my body didn't feel too good... but... even though I heard a lot of negative things, 4nias' messages helped me stay strong~~
An album that came out after 1 year... You didn't change even during 1 year and you waited, so I am very thankful~
It's not just 1 or 2 things that I'm really thankful for......

[NEWS/INFO] 015B's "Silly Boy feat. 4minute" teaser revealed

Legendary, veteran group 015B will be coming back to the Korean music scene soon! After debuting successfully in 1990, the group released hit after hit steadily until 2006. But now with 2011 upon us, they've decided to feature future legends, 4minute, on their comeback song! The song will be released on the 22nd.

[NEWS/INFO] Cube Family to put on Fantasy Land concert this August

Cube Family will hold their first "UNITED CUBE CONCERT" in August.

4minute, BEAST, G.NA, and other Cube acts will gather together on August 14 at the Jamsil Sports Complex for the special event. The concert's theme will be "Fantasy Land" and Cube is planning for it be set up in a large-scale festival-like design.

Compared to other general idol concerts, United Cube will be an event with a more free atmosphere, relying on the festival concept. On June 9, Cube Entertainment opened the "United Cube Concert" teaser site. And at the same time they unveiled episode one of "Fantasy Land Teaser" featuring Cube Family.

[NEWS] 4minute Hyunah vs. T-ara Hyomin: "School Uniform Battle" !

The picture of Hyomin in a school uniform is from the set of the latest horror film "Gisaeng Spirit." Hyomin plays the role of Han Eunjung's younger sister, a lively high school student, who has the key to all the problems. She looks cute with her hair tied up in pigtails.

On the other hand, Hyunah is known as a girl group member who looks great in a school uniform. The photos at the top are of Hyunah in junior high school when she debuted as a Wonder Girls member. [News] 4minute Sohyun vs. 2NE1 Sandara,who wore it better?

Girl group 2NE1's Sandara Park and 4minute's Kwon Sohyun were caught wearing the same clothes. These two both chose this knitted vest.

After the K-pop event, "Seoul Osaka Music of Heart 2011 Fighting Japan," Sohyun wore this vest in white while coming back to Korea on June 8th. On this day, Sohyun made an airport fashion statement with her matching black and white outfit. Excluding the vest, her short pants, shoes, bag, and sunglasses were all black.

Sandara Park first wore this vest on December 15th for the "2010 Melon Music Awards." She chose this vest in grey while the rest of her outfit was black. She, on the other hand, wore a belt with the vest, which made it more stylish. Because of the cold weather, she also wore long, black gloves.
