[News] Big Bang's GD&TOP to stop using Playboy logo

Playboy magazine of the United States has belatedly found out that GD&TOP (G-Dragon and Choi Seung-hyeon), a K-pop duo consisting of two members from Big Bang, used its bunny logo without its approval and recently asked YG Entertainment, Big Bang's management firm, to stop using it.

According to a Wednesday posting on YG's home page, Playboy brought into question the rabbit symbol on the cover of the GD&TOP's album, which was released on Dec. 24 last year.

"The rabbit logo on the album was inspired by rabbit ears - as a celebration of the Year of the Rabbit in 2011 - combined with V of Victory", said the posting, adding the logo was "based on the Playboy bunny".

The management firm also admitted that it hadn't sought permission from Playboy. "We are accepting the request from Playboy magazine and will immediately stop selling albums with the logo on them. We also plan to release a new album design by the end of July".

[NEWS] Kim Joong Man talks about Big Bang’s DAZED&CONFUSED Concepts + TOP’s eye infection!

The photographer Kim Joong-man worked with three cameras. Big Bang members gathered what ideas they wanted to show, even amidst their busy schedule in japan.

Taeyang, who has a serious image, wanted to show Good and Bad. Daesung, who has a warm image, wanted to show coldness. Seungri wanted to show double-sided-ness. [News] TOP, not to take part on Yoon Suk Ho’s new drama ‘Our Joyful Youth’

Yoon suk-ho’s new drama, “our joyful youth,” has been postponed to next year.

“Our Joyful Youth” was originally planned to air after “spy month” which features Lee jin-wook and Han Ye-sul this September on KBS 2tv, but recently Yoon suk-ho PD asked kbs that he may be excused from this year’s line-up.

On the ninth, during a conversation with TVReport, Yoon suk-ho PD stated that “many things are making the drama on september to be difficult, postponement is necessary for a better quality.”

The script maker of “Kyu-Wool-Yun-Ka” and “Ka-Eul-Dong-Hwa” made a good script for this drama, but free production such as casting and scene hunting has been difficult and thus he turned to postponement.

Yoon suk-ho PD stated, “I dont want to make a sloppy drama chased on time and disappoint the viewers. I am not used to 쪽대본 (scenario not finished by the start of the drama—the senarios are built as the actors go on. so the actors dont really know the ending of the story until they get there) and i’m not ready for it.” One personnel hinted that Yoon suk-ho may be under pressure since this is a come back after 5 years.

Regarding to casting, Yoon suk-ho stated that he “met with many actors including top,” but since he is postponing he should have to make an entirely new casting. His goal for now is to start filming this fall and air the drama beginning of next year.
