ZE:A is currently one of the hottest and most popular boy bands in Korea. It is formed by 9 young and energetic boys aged from 19 to 24. Though it is only a year after their first debut, their sweet and friendly image make them gain lots of support from fans in Asia! They kicked off their "ZE:A Asia Tour 2011" in May in Yokohama, Japan on 4th May and received overwhelming response from fans there. They plan to carry on their tour in other Asia countries in the following months, and it will be the first time for ZE:A to come to Hong Kong to meet their beloved fans at the end of June.
Needless to say, ZE:A members have their unique charm and attractions to fans, with 100% devotion and commitment to music and stage performance. The relation amongst the 9 members is so harmonious. Their friendly and humble attitude make them gain lots of love and affection from fans and working partners, thus enabling them to become popular in the Kpop industry in a very rapid way!
Dong Jun is the youngest member and the lead singer of the boy group! He has got a nickname of "scary maknae" with mischievous personality and love of sports! Sometimes he behaves so strong and tough like a mature man but sometimes a little boy who needs love and care. He likes singing and dancing so much and strives to winning the grand prix in music awards one day. Dong Jun is a self-demanding person who is absolutely organised for all working schedules. He will review his upcoming schedule every night. He has participated in various TV shows, one of the most memorable performances was MBC's "Love Chaser" broadcasted last year, during the show he received encouragement from his parents' video message that made him so touching and burst into tears immediately. Two years ago, Dong Jun moved from Busan to Seoul alone to fulfill his dreams as an artist, he caused some accident in the toilet and almost destroyed the whole Company office. He did not tell anyone at the beginning as he was afraid of paying for the damages. But he finally talked about this accident in an interview, and he expressed deep apologies towards this issue and promised he will work hard to make money to compensate the Company. Recently, Dong Jun made a new attempt to participate in the musical "Aladdin" and fans just love his lovely image so much.
Jun Young is described as "Super handsome leader" in ZE:A! His handsome outlook attracted hearts of many fans. He is gentle and charming in terms of personalities. He likes watching movies and listening to music in leisure time. He is a loyal and persuasive person. He likes drinking plenty of water before sleeping. He dislikes people keep on talking to him and touch him especially when he feels tired after work. Jun Young is very dedicated to his work. Early in this year, Jun Young got hurt during the shooting but he insisted to resume work and complete the shooting in order not to upset the schedule and his fans. He even went to Jeju the following day to attend a fan meeting. It shows how much he valued his work and fans. In February, Jun Young got hurt again in the bathroom and needed to have a surgery. His fans feel so sorry for this and hope that he can be more careful next time!
Fashionista Si Wan is the vanguard of the trend and he has very strong fashion sense amongst the team members! He is comparatively self-centered. He loves challenges and strives to upgrade himself all the time. He likes playing violin and dislike people who try to get into his personal life. Si Wan posted a photo of himself in the me2day wearing girl costumes in April this year. He wore an elegant white dress and a big hat, together with his shy smile, making many fans feel that Si Wan looks more beautiful than any other girls do.
Kwang Hee is well-known as a "funny guy" in the Kpop industry! He is so active and cheerful but sometimes very quiet. He likes watching movies and shopping, good at making fun, and making people laugh. He dislikes people scratch him. Kwang Hee has participated in a lot of TV shows, the one that attracted most people's attention is the "Strong Heart" programme which was broadcasted in January this year. He revealed in the show that only those people who had received plastic surgery can understand the real situation. And he was honest enough to tell audience that he has received plenty plastic surgeries and rested in bed for more than a year! With Kwang Hee's funny and innocent way of speech, he is getting very famous in Korea and becoming hot and popular in variety shows. He received many job invitations and become a regular guest in the show "Strong Heart ". People also described him "The treasures of the entertainment In 2010".
Australian charisma Kevin, the power lead singer, is active and positive, he loves challenging and dares to try new things that he has never done before. He likes movies and cooking, and hates liars in particular. He has participated in the musical "Aladdin" before his debut in Korea. He is proficient in various languages including Korean, Japanese, English and Chinese.
Kevin is the Group's "chef" as he is influenced by his mother to love cooking. If he has time, he always likes preparing food for his team members and is good at making Korean and Western food.
Hyung Sik is described as a "Prince" who has gentle and cute face, mixed character and elusive. He likes listening to music and playing computer games the most. He feels particularly angry when all food is eaten up by his members before him.
Kevin had revealed in a Korean variety show that Hyung Sik is in fact the "God of Cookery". It is because Hyung Sik had finished a total of 5 servings at one time during a flight back from Thailand. There is also one time that the 9 ZE:A members and their boss went to have barbecued food together, the total bills for 9 Members had reached 120 million won, only Hyung Sik himself ate food equivalent to almost 80 million won! What's more, Hyung Sik had been rejected by a buffet restaurant! That's why Hyung Sik is not only our prince, but also the "God of Cookery"!
Min Woo is the Group's "Dancing Machine ". He is a very cheerful person, love laughing, but a bit shy when he meets new friend. He likes music and singing the most. Min Woo is very good at dancing, so the team gives him the name "Dancing Machine"! Min Woo has honest personality and hates liars the most!
Hee Cheol is described as an "Arrogant Rapper" who has set his goals clearly! He never does his work sloppy and he expresses his opinions clearly. Hee Cheol likes sleeping and playing computer games the most but he dislikes Kwang Hee who always brings him trouble and disturbs him while working!
Hee Cheol has extensive working experiences and tried many works before joining ZE:A, such as convenience store, waiter at net cafes etc. These experiences made him work extraordinarily hard and dedicated in the team.
Tae Heon is a "Tough Rapper" with quiet and cautious personalities! He has a tough image but sometimes eccentric. He lives with his sisters when he was at secondary school year 3. He feels grateful to his parents in heaven now and his aunt who raised him.
This is the first visit for ZE:A to Hong Kong and meet the fans there.
ZE:A will hold "ZE:A Asia Tour 2011 in Hong Kong" at the end of June. Fans will have the chance to meet the 9 members and more importantly to see their great dancing and singing performance in Hong Kong! Let us welcome and show our full love and support to the 9 boys of ZE:A!
